The Museum is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.
The Beach museum features local art and hosts K-State's permanent which originated in 1928. The collection has more than 2,000 works of art emphasizing Midwestern Artists. Visitors can experience famous and well-known artists from Kansas and the Midwest. A wide variety of tours and educational programming are offered, including adult highlights tours, programming for school children, and educational tours and lectures for the University and other communities. Programs for groups need to be booked in advance. The Museum Shop offers a variety of books and gifts related to the Museum's exhibitions, including a selection of catalogues published by the Museum. Free admission and free parking. |
