Born: London- 1983.
The art has no set form, either in its subject matter or execution. Over the years the artist has constantly varied the materials used experimenting with pastel, pencil, spray paint, charcoal and collage. The work appears to be influenced by a variety of modern styles including surrealism, abstract art and street art/graffiti. Despite the links to these styles, the artwork, on the whole, does not include anything that is not present in ‘external’ reality. It is the arrangement of the objects which gives it a ‘surreal’ quality. The artist is constantly searching for new ideas for his work. Ideas explored include perception, meta/quantum-physics, religion/spirituality and nature amongst others. The complexity of composition and other commitments means the artists output is relatively low. |
