In 2023, the calendar of the artistic capital of Latin America will gain a new event that is already born with the credibility of over 11 years of experience, success and recognition. With the structure and organizing team of ArtRio, the first edition of ArtSampa will be held at OCA, a project by Oscar Niemeyer inside Ibirapuera Park, in the middle of Burle Marx’s garden. Based in Rio de Janeiro, BEX is a cultural producer specializing in visual arts. Its main project is the ArtRio fair, which has been taking place since 2011 at Píer Mauá, bringing together the main galleries from Brazil and the world. Created in 2009 by Brenda Valansi and Elisangela Valadares, BEX's main objectives are to promote the production, dissemination and distribution of Brazilian art in the country and abroad.
Throughout the year, BEX organizes fairs, publications on art, lectures, urban interventions and exhibitions. In addition, it participates in the main art events in the world, promoting cultural exchanges by bringing renowned international collectors, critics and curators to Rio.
BEX's performance has been a differential in the Brazilian scenario, with actions and projects that integrate institutions, galleries, artists and curators, forming new audiences, stimulating collecting and the growth of the visual arts market.
