"Everything takes place in a slow Apocalypse" – Exhibition of collages on photographic prints by Cinzia Ceccarelli. It is with great enthusiasm that La Via Lattea Art Studio presents "Everything happens in a slow Apocalypse", a visual project by Cinzia Ceccarelli that transports the viewer into a dystopian and surreal future. The exhibition, which opens on 4 April 2025, explores the human condition put in crisis by a habitat now close to degeneration, in which the relationship between man and nature is strongly altered.
Cinzia Ceccarelli, through her unmistakable collage technique on photographic print, proposes a visual language capable of addressing dramatic and contemporary themes. Alienation, desperation, but above all the impact of man on the environment, are at the center of a journey that stands out for its expressive intensity.
"Collage allows me to deconstruct reality and reconstruct it in a symbolic key, creating images that tell of human fragility and nature's reaction to anthropocentrism," explains the artist. The result is a profound and thoughtful exploration of our existence, of the uncertainty of the present and its possible consequences.
An emblematic work of the exhibition is the image of a metropolis, which seems to recall New York, invaded by gigantic insects. A disturbing vision, which not only serves as an ecological warning, but also turns into a powerful metaphor for the social and geopolitical inequalities that cross our world. The collage technique allows Ceccarelli to mix contrasting visual elements, amplifying the emotional and conceptual message that his art wants to convey.
"Everything happens in a slow Apocalypse" is not only a reflection on our environmental impact, but also an invitation to meditate on the choices that each of us makes, in an increasingly fragile and interconnected global context.
The exhibition is part of the "Ma/donne 2025 Challenge for Peace" exhibition, which celebrates female commitment and creativity in the artistic panorama. La Via Lattea Art Studio is also pleased to announce the collaboration with Sanduq Edicola Collettiva, an artistic-cultural project that regenerates a disused newsstand, transforming it into a multifunctional place where art, culture, information and services come together, in the name of enhancing the female vision.
The Via Lattea Art Studio thus continues to be a point of reference for contemporary art, supporting Italian and foreign artists and promoting the meeting of innovative expressive languages.
