The Artist Talk will allow attendees to dive into the creative processes of Linda Dujack and Linda Ganus. Both artists will also hold a raffle for one artwork of their choice. This event is free, and light refreshments will be served.
In WHERE ARE YOU TAKING US NEXT? artists Dujack and Ganus share their visual and sensory responses to specific places that are important to them: in this case, Dujack's expressions in mixed-media and paintings of visits to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and Ganus's painterly explorations of Aoteoroa/New Zealand.
Both artists share a love for the natural world around us, as well as a keen interest in psychological themes and human relationships that can be expressed through their personal languages of color, scale, and symbols.
They are both deeply interested in the way other forms of creative expression, including music, literature, and movement, intersect and resonate with visual art, and also find joy and inspiration in finding these connections together. Dujack and Ganus have collaborated and exhibited together in various venues for over thirty years, and are thrilled to share their latest work with the public in this exhibition.
