Contemporary Art Gallery Online invites 2D and 3D artists of all experience levels—regardless of education, background, or location—to enter this exciting international competition. Artists from around the globe are encouraged to participate.

All accepted entrants will be featured in a four-week online group exhibition at Contemporary Art Gallery Online after the competition closes.

We are seeking your strongest non-representational and abstract work that pushes the boundaries of form, color, texture, movement, and emotion. The Abstract Art theme celebrates the full spectrum of non-objective expression—bold gestural mark-making, geometric and hard-edge composition, color-field painting, expressive layering, conceptual abstraction, and every approach in between. Whether your work is purely non-representational or uses recognizable forms as a launching point for abstract exploration, what matters most is that abstraction is the heart of your piece.

Entries will be judged in the following categories: Paintings, Photography, Mixed Media, and 3-Dimensional Work. Please note that computer-enhanced or AI-created artwork must be disclosed and will not be eligible for the Paintings/Drawing category.

Awards will be presented to the top 6 to 8 works in each category (depending on the number of submissions), including Best in Show, Judges' Choice, and Gallery Choice. Additional awards may also be given based on the quantity and quality of submissions received.

Award-winning artists will be featured in a special group exhibition online and at the Ramsey Art Gallery in the Historic District of Hollins Market in Baltimore, Maryland.
