Art San Diego features a dynamic agenda that includes exhibitions by 60 leading international galleries and emerging artists, immersive experiences, curated artist talks, panel discussions, and performances. As the only contemporary art and design fair in San Diego, the fair plays a key role in Southern California’s rich array of cultural events.
Art San Diego is a curated show with an Exhibitor Committee consisting of four individuals with outstanding reputations and experience in galleries, art industry business, and artist development. Strict hanging guidelines, aesthetics, and attention to detail will be enforced, providing a streamlined, crisp, and clean venue for gallery owners, designers, architects, and collectors to enjoy.
Since its inception in 2009, Art San Diego has enriched the city’s arts scene beyond measure. As the only contemporary fine art show in San Diego, ASD has become one of the leading cultural events in Southern California and has inspired attendees from all over the world with its site-specific art projects, art talks and panel discussions, specially selected emerging artists, special events, and more. Taking place in a beautiful gallery-style venue in the Wyland Center. Art San Diego brings back its renowned lineup of multifaceted programs showcasing artistic expression and diversity. Programs are specially curated for the show and informed by a common curatorial theme. Site-specific Art Labs, panel discussions, the San Diego Art Prize, and a selection Spotlight Artists and an emerging LaunchPad Artist will be among the many touchstones throughout the show’s duration.
